Curl Flow

Terms of Service

Last updated 27 September 2026

These terms cover curlflow.eu and the Curl Flow application. Using it means accepting them. They are between you and Siin App OÜ, registry code 17236273, Sõle tn 82-14, 10314 Tallinn, Harju maakond, Estonia.

What you make is yours

Everything you create with Curl Flow belongs to you, completely. The videos you export, the images you snapshot, the takes you record, the presets you build, the text you write, the look you compose. All of it.

You may use it commercially without asking us and without paying us anything: release it, sell it, licence it to a client, put it in a film, play it at a venue, monetise it on any platform, build a business on it.

We take no ownership, no licence, no revenue share and no credit. We do not need a licence to your work, because your work never reaches us — it is rendered and saved by your own browser onto your own machine. The one exception is an image you choose to attach to a note you send us, and attaching it changes nothing about who owns it: see below.

We will never claim a right to your output, and we will never introduce a term that lets us use it for promotion, training or anything else without asking you first and separately.

The watermark

On the free plan, exports and the second screen carry a small Curl Flow wordmark in the corner. That is a mark on the picture, not a claim on it — the video is still entirely yours, including for commercial use. Headliner removes it; that is a change to the picture, not to who owns the file.

The demo track

Curl Flow ships with one piece of music, Curl Flow — Sample, so there is something to react to the moment you arrive. It is our own recording. We wrote it, we performed it, and we own it.

You are licensed to use it. Siin App OÜ grants you a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual and irrevocable licence to reproduce, distribute, publicly perform and synchronise Curl Flow — Sample as it appears in a video you export from Curl Flow.

That includes commercial use and monetised platforms. Post the clip, run ads against it, put it in a client's deck, show it at a venue. You do not need to credit us, ask us, or pay us.

We do not register this track with any content-identification or rights-claim system, and we will not issue a copyright claim against a video you exported from Curl Flow.

What the licence does not cover, so there is no ambiguity in the other direction: distributing the track on its own as an audio file, releasing it as a recording, sampling it into a new musical work, or claiming to own it. It comes with the videos, not instead of them.

Audio you bring yourself

If you use your own music, you are responsible for having the right to use it. We never receive the file — it is decoded and analysed entirely in your browser — so we cannot check, and the consequences of using something you do not have the rights to are yours.

Telling us things

There is a box in the updates panel for writing to us — a bug, a request, an opinion. Using it is entirely up to you, and what you write there is read by us and by nobody else: it is not a forum, there is no public board, and nothing you send appears anywhere in the product.

You may attach one image if it helps — a screenshot, usually. Attaching it lets us look at it in order to answer you and fix what you are describing, and nothing else. It stays yours. We take no ownership and no licence, we will not publish it, and we will not use it to promote anything or to train anything. If we ever wanted to quote you or show something you sent, we would ask you first and separately.

Please do not send us anything you do not have the right to share, and do not put other people's personal details in a note. We may delete notes, and there is a limit on how many one account can send in a day — it exists to stop the box being used as a pipe, not to stop you writing twice.

Accounts

  • You do not need one to use the visualiser. An account is needed to keep presets and to record video.
  • Signing in is through Google, or with a code we email you. Keeping that account secure is your responsibility; we never see or hold a password.
  • One account per person, and do not share access to it.
  • You can close your account at any time, yourself: the Curl Flow menu in the top-left corner, your account, Delete my account. That deletes your presets too, so export anything you want to keep first — the app has an Export button for exactly that.
  • You may set a nickname. It has to be free, and we may take one back if it impersonates somebody or is chosen to abuse another person.

Price

There are two plans. Soundcheck is free with an account: the free styles, recorded takes of up to one minute, and the Curl Flow mark on videos and the second screen. Headliner is the same application with those limits off: every style, including each new one, no time limit on takes, no mark, and your own images and logos in the styles that draw from a picture.

Headliner is sold two ways, with the same result: monthly, or once. Prices are shown before you pay and include VAT.

  • Monthly renews every month until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account, and Headliner then lasts until the end of the month you have already paid for. We do not refund part of a month.
  • Forever is a single payment. It gives the account you bought it on Headliner for as long as we run Curl Flow, with every update included. It is not a subscription and nothing renews.

Stripe sells Headliner to you on our behalf, as the seller of record, under the name Link. Stripe takes the payment, charges the VAT that applies where you live, sends your receipts and handles refunds and card disputes, and its own terms apply to the payment. These terms still govern Curl Flow itself.

Stripe applies the cooling-off rules of the country you live in. If something has gone wrong with a purchase, write to us — see Contact.

We will not take something you rely on and put it behind a price without warning. If what is included in Soundcheck changes, account holders are told by email before it happens, and anything you have already exported stays yours regardless.

Acceptable use

This is a visualiser, so the list is short. Do not:

  • use it to produce material that is illegal where you are;
  • attack the service — probing, overloading it deliberately, or trying to reach other people's accounts, presets or data;
  • resell access to the service itself, or present it as your own product. Selling what you make with it is explicitly fine — that is the section at the top.

What we do not promise

The honest version, because a blanket disclaimer would tell you nothing useful:

  • It needs WebGPU. Not every browser and not every machine can run it. If yours cannot, the app says so plainly rather than failing quietly — but we cannot promise it will work on any particular computer, and we cannot fix a graphics driver.
  • Video export depends on your hardware. A dense scene on a slow machine can drop frames or stop part-way. There is a check that runs before recording and tells you what it found; it is a real measurement of a real short take, not a guarantee about the next sixty seconds.
  • It is early. Features will change, appearance will change, and occasionally something will break. Presets are designed to keep loading across those changes, and there is a written rule against breaking the saved file format — but we are not promising that nothing will ever go wrong.
  • We do not hold a copy of your work. That is the point of the ownership section, and it has a consequence: if you lose a file, we cannot recover it for you. That includes takes: they are written only to the folder you chose on your own computer, and deleting one there — or from the Takes list — is final. Presets saved to an account are the one exception, and even those you should export if they matter.

Beyond that, the service is provided as it is. To the extent Estonian law allows, we exclude liability for indirect or consequential loss — lost work, lost profit, a missed deadline. Nothing here removes rights you have as a consumer under Estonian or EU law, and nothing here excludes liability for anything that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Ending it

You can stop using Curl Flow whenever you like, and close your account as described above. Files you have already exported are unaffected — they are on your machine and we have no part in them.

We can suspend or close an account that breaks the acceptable-use section. If we do, we will tell you why and, unless the law prevents it, give you a chance to retrieve your presets first.

If we ever discontinue the service, account holders will be given notice and time to export their presets before it goes. A monthly plan stops being charged before then.

Changes to these terms

The date at the top is the date this version took effect. Material changes will be emailed to account holders. Continuing to use Curl Flow after a change means accepting it; if you would rather not, close your account.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Estonia, and the courts of Estonia have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory law of the country you live in.
